Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
PCL Graphics | Markham, ON (on-site)
PCL Graphics is a fast-paced, production-driven print and fabrication company. We’re looking for a steady, organized Shipping & Receiving Coordinator who can keep product moving accurately, safely, and on time, even when things get busy.
What you’ll do
Ship finished jobs accurately: QC items and confirm quantities match the packing slip and job paperwork before anything leaves the building.
Package like it matters: Protect product using the right materials and methods (cardboard, boxes, bubble wrap, foam, corner protection, strapping, etc.) to prevent damage in transit.
Handle shipping paperwork: Prepare/verify documents, labels, courier waybills, and packing slips. Keep records clean and complete.
Coordinate with PMs: Communicate shipping options, estimated costs, and timelines to project managers so customers get clear answers.
Receive and put away inventory: Receive deliveries, verify counts, log items into the system, mark as received, and ensure inventory is put away properly and consistently.
Keep the area organized: Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shipping/receiving space.
Close dockets on time: Ensure paperwork and dockets are completed and closed correctly to support accurate billing and smooth internal flow.
Stay calm under pressure: Shipping can surge fast. You’ll prioritize, stay cool, and keep things moving without cutting corners.
What we’re looking for
Shipping/Receiving experience required (production, manufacturing, print, or warehouse environments are a strong plus).
Strong attention to detail, especially with counts, paperwork, and job verification.
Comfortable using inventory/shipping systems and basic computer tools.
Physically capable of handling packages and materials (standing, lifting, moving skids, etc.).
Clear communicator who can coordinate across teams and ask the right questions early.
Organized, dependable, and proactive, not someone who waits to be told what’s next.
Ability to handle deadlines, prioritize quickly, and keep quality high during rush periods.
Bonus points
Experience with couriers/LTL freight, skids and palletizing, and shipping in a production environment.
Forklift experience (or willing to get certified).
Familiarity with job dockets, packing slips, and internal billing flow.
Why PCL
You’ll be part of a team that moves fast and takes pride in doing things right. If you’re sharp, reliable, and you like ownership over your area, you’ll fit in.
